Super Bowl totals betting, also commonly known as over/under betting, lets you bet that the total number of points scored by both teams in the game will be over or under a number specified by the sportsbook.

Here is an example of Super Bowl total or over/under odds:

In this case, the total set by the sportsbook is 48.5, meaning for the over to win the game needs to have 49 points or more, and for the under to win it needs to have 48 points or fewer. In this example, both the over and under selections are available at moneyline odds of -110, which means you must bet $110 to win $100, for a total payout of $210.

Similar odds may be offered for the Super Bowl for one of the teams to score over or under a specified points total. As with other over/under markets, sportsbooks aim to set Super Bowl totals that they think will attract approximate 50/50 interest from bettors on the over and under.
